The Charity Supply Company abides by the good practice guides of the Fundraising Standards Board and Institute of Fundraising.
The standard contract used is that issued / approved by the Institute of Fundraising for use between a consultant and a client charity, unless otherwise varied by mutual agreement and not in contradiction of those good practice guidelines.
Fees for consultancy and strategy work are payable on completion of project, and within 28 days of invoice issue. (Interest is chargeable on outstanding sums at the rate of 3% above Bank of England base rate.)
Fees for consultancy and strategy work are £500 per seven hour day, administration / research at £150 per day.
Fees for ongoing fundraising work are payable on a quarterly basis, in arrears, within 14 days of invoice issue, unless by prior arrangement. (Interest is chargeable on outstanding sums at the rate of 3% above Bank of England base rate.)
Ongoing fundraising work is charged at £350 per seven hour day, administration or research at £150 per day. Other expertise bought in for client-specific purposes under CSC management will be charged at cost plus £50 per day.
Three months notice of termination of ongoing fundraising work is due by either side, with fees for one quarter due in lieu of notice if notice not required, unless fewer than half the amount of days allowed under the contract per quarter has been worked for each of the preceeding two quarters, in which case only half that fee in lieu of notice will be charged.
Vat is not chargeable on any CSC fees, and will not be charged without giving client charities three months notice.
